Xchange 2008 Speaker Line Up Announced...

Cheadle, Cheshire, UK, September 22nd, 2008 – Wonderware United Kingdom, a business unit of SolutionsPT Ltd, who market and support the world’s leading range of industrial automation and manufacturing execution and technology products, today announced an impressive line up of keynote and general session speakers for Xchange 2008 – a major residential user conference and industry networking event to be held at the Alton Towers Conference Centre 4^th and 5^th November 2008. 

The event will be opened by Stephen Radley, Chief Economist of EEF – The Manufacturers Organization speaking on the highly topical subject of the manufacturing sectors state of readiness to weather economic storms. Mr Radley, previously with The Henley Centre and the CBI, heads EEF’s work on economic and industrial policy and is a well respected commentator on all areas of Manufacturing Performance and Productivity.

Also speaking in keynote will be Simon Pollard, vice president of Manufacturing Operations & Execution for SAP EMEA. Mr Pollard is an expert in supply chain management and manufacturing operations and also a recent former member of The Supply Chain Council. He will address Xchange 2008 delegates on the ever important subject of integrating shop-floor automation systems with enterprise layer business systems.
