Wonderware Releases Information Server 3.1

Cheadle Royal, Cheshire, UK, 11 May 2009 - Wonderware United Kingdom, a division of SolutionsPT limited, today announced the release of Wonderware Information Server 3.1 software with enhanced Web-based, enterprise-level reporting capabilities and support for Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and Windows Vista.       

Wonderware Information Server 3.1 offers an easy-to-use solution for Web-based reporting and analysis of real-time operations information for the manufacturing and infrastructure industries.  The new version features enhanced dashboard support with the ability to add custom filters that provide real-time visibility into detailed equipment operations.  It also offers a simplified installation procedure for the embedded Microsoft SharePoint 2007 technology, as well as tighter integration with Wonderware ActiveFactory for creating and publishing query reports.

Wonderware Information Server 3.1 software supports corporate IT portals, enabling the export of content into other Web portals.  This capability utilises existing IT infrastructures and helps to make them more informative and valuable.

With minimum training, Information Server 3.1 enables operations personnel to install, configure and implement a highly effective plant information Web site without the need for custom application development.  In addition, tighter integration with Wonderware ActiveFactory trending, analysis and reporting software capability allows users to manage large amounts of data, and aggregate it into highly informative production and performance reports.  These reports can be customised and tailored to the information needs of specific operations management users.             

Information Server 3.1 provides users access to Wonderware-generated content including InTouch process graphics, trends and reports.  Information Server also connects operations personnel with other open data sources so they can access an enterprise's entire performance record.
