Continuous Improvement
|
Continuous Improvement programmes ensure that a company constantly looks at all areas for business improvement. This frequently involves quality, efficiency, OEE, downtime, schedule adherence and other monitoring major KPI's. The greatest problem with Continuous Improvement programmes is that it becomes more difficult over time to find areas of improvement. This is usually because it is harder to observe or detect a problem, for example slight ‘micro stoppages' that accumulate many hours of lost production in a year owing to extended cycle times. |

Wonderware has time-proven solutions to the problem of detailed information, through a combination of Wonderware Historian and Historian Clients (Active Factory) the data can be acquired in very fine granularity, this often reveals problems (or areas of improvement) that cannot be normally observed. For OEE approaches to Continuous Improvement, Wonderware Performance Software is the direct way to TPM results, for quality focus then Wonderware QI Analyst will undertake all the statistical analysis automatically.
